Streliski describes Inscape as "a state of mind in which you are before things happen to you. The sort of calm that you can feel and you don't know that some events are about to change you. It's the beginning of the trip. It's the beginning of the Inscape". She says that the album is inspired by her own personal journey, as she went through a burnout and a divorce, and rediscovered her artistic identity and passion.
The album features minimalist and neo-classical compositions, influenced by artists such as Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi, and Yann Tiersen. Streliski's piano playing is delicate and expressive, creating a soothing and intimate atmosphere. Some of the pieces, such as "Plus tôt", "Par la fenêtre de Théo", and "Le Nouveau Départ", have been featured in popular TV shows and films, such as Big Little Lies, Sharp Objects, and Dallas Buyers Club.
Streliski has performed Inscape live in various venues and festivals, such as CBC Music's Studio 211, Rotterdam Live Session, and Cercle. She has also collaborated with other artists, such as Patrick Watson, Jean-Michel Blais, and Safia Nolin. She is currently working on her third album, which she hopes to release in 2023.
Inscape is a beautiful and moving album that showcases Streliski's talent and sensitivity as a composer and pianist. It is a musical journey that invites the listener to explore their own inner landscape and emotions.
